Apophis is breaking free from his prison, and if Carter and Sadie don't find a way to bring back the sun god Ra in the next couple days – some very bad things may happen. For example: Apophis could swallow the sun, the world could end, and everyone could die.
The Throne of Fire is a humorous and enjoyable second installment. It contains killing, several references to disturbing deaths, kissing, a male Speedo, cleavage, and male physic being described as hot or attractive. It also includes a subtle tie in to Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson & The Olympians series.
